Chiara Castaldini

Chiara Castaldini - Contemporary dance for middle and high schools and intermediate adults.

She began her dance training at the Mousiké Center in Bologna and over the years chose to deepen the study of contemporary technique; it is regularly updated through an intense activity of seminars and workshops, also conducting Choreology studies in Italy and at the Laban Center for Movement and Dance in London. She danced for Teatro della Valdoca, Il Posto vertical dance company, Romeo Castellucci, Virgilio Sieni.

In September 2014, she obtained the University Diploma in Art, Dance and Performance at the Franche-Comté University of Besançon (FR). She graduated from the National Course of Specialization for Danzeducatori® and since 2001 she has been conducting workshops in Educational Dance for the Infancy and Primary school, in the social and intergenerational context. She is a teaching in refresher courses for preschool and primary school teachers for RE.MU.TO- Network of Tuscan music and theatre and school-ERT Friuli Venezia Giulia.

From 2001 to 2016 she is part of the pedagogical team of the Mousiké Dance Education Center where she teaches creative dance and contemporary dance and takes care of the PHREN Azioni Urbane project, a special training project aimed at dancers from 15 years of age, which offers a path to deepen the performative act in relation to urban spaces.

Since 2016 it is part of Formati Sensibili, an independent production company for the creation, support and distribution of artistic and research projects for adults and children; in particular, Pingelap - a project aimed at children and teenagers- and is assistant to the choreography for some performances by the artist Alessandro Carboni
