Tip-Tap/ Tap Dance

Tip-Tap is a discipline halfway between dance and music that combines body movements with the rhythms of percussion. It originated in the lower classes, developing through competitive "battles" along the roads between Irish immigrants and African slaves. This dance began to be known when a black manager at the beginning of the 900 began to produce shows, followed by numerous performances in clubs and theatre. In the '40s and' 50s arrived in Hollywood movies becoming a fashion dance, thanks to the skill of great artists like Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and many others. The aims of this course are to accompany the students to the "Tap dance", to discover their vocation and their sense of rhythm. In tap dance, the dancer "wears" his musical instrument creating a rhythmic a cappella line or integrated with the melodic music.

In Almadanza we have a unique level for children and teenagers and two levels for adults: beginners and intermediate / advanced.
